Anyone else hearing the birds in the morning?! Spring is coming and I'm not mad about it!
We had an AMAZING family vacation, but I haven't gotten through all the pictures yet so in the meantime, here's some other stuff happening at the Hiemstra House.
Progress continues (slowly but steadily) on the Love Shack.
This dilapidated little barn has been an eyesore in our back yard for ten years so it's fun to watch it get spruced up. It's also fun to watch Gary and John work on it together.
Has anyone tried Costco's new double chocolate mint sundae? Wow. I am not a super big mint fan but they had me at "limited time only" so I treated myself. It is deliciousness in a cup. I was feeling pretty icky after finishing the whole thing but it was totally worth it. James made me feel better when he told me I was just "pre-cruise prepping".
Speaking of prepping, I made myself a list of things I needed to do before vacation and I am happy to report, they have been completed. The pictures of the kids heading upstairs have been updated. Two engagement photos and one senior picture.
I also got Katie's graduation photo book done. Yea me.
I'm still collecting china plates for Paige. These pretties came in the thrift store lately. I think we are almost have enough now!
If only it was so easy to find myself a dress. :(
