Saturday Stuff

I got lots to get done today but thought I'd do a quick post.  Not much to report.  Just enjoying my summer and wishing it would slow down!

Still lots of sunshine and beautiful temps here.  The farmers (and my new front yard) could really do with some rain but I'm not complaining.

My back flower beds are so pretty this year.  They have really filled in nicely.

My sombrero plants are blooming!  They have a fancier name too but I can never remember it.  They are one of my favorites.  The butterflies and hummingbirds really like them too!

This girl.  She was babysitting the other day and the little girl wanted to run through the sprinkler.  For whatever reason Katie did not want to put on her swimsuit so she covered herself with garbage bags.

And this girl.  She is enjoying her time in Utah.  She said the job is fine but she's been taking advantage of her days off and exploring.  This was taken in Park City.

Last weekend some super progress was happening in the shop.  A bunch of John's golfing buddies came over to help him frame in the game room.  There might have been slight ulterior motives since the game room will have a golf simulator in it.  The buddies are looking forward to using it when the weather doesn't allow them to go out.

And just because he's so cute.  This is Johnny's newest trick.  He likes to climb to the top of my patio swing and look down on me.

Summertime is Funner Time

No complaints about the weather around here lately.  Lots of sunshine.  🌞

We had our annual Coffee Lady Camping Trip over the weekend before the 4th (kinda messed things up a big with it being on a Tuesday this year).

As usual, a great time was had by all!

Katie brought a friend.  The highlight for them was playing tennis against John and Arnold.

I pretty much just have eating pictures.  Maybe because we do a lot of eating.

The girls slept in the back of the Pilot.

The guys played a lot of cards.

I took a long walk one day.

Love spending time with these guys and gals.

John started another project.  He is framing in a game room in the shop.  It will be insulated and heated so we can use it year round.

It's pretty cool when your son's girlfriend's parents become friends.  We love hanging out with M and J.

John and Sam working on his moped.

This isn't exactly fun but Katie and I had to clean out the pantry one day.  There was a really bad smell coming from in there.  I was so afraid we were going to find a dead mouse.  Turned out it was a rotten potato.

Katie started work in the berries.

For some reason, this really made me laugh.
